About Us

Fair Game is looking to recruit a project manager to work with its small team of data analysts to build on its reputation as the leading organisation analysing the off-field performance of football clubs. The initial focus will be on developing and delivering the 2026 Fair Game Index (FGI) but Fair Game is also looking at building on the strength of the index to look at other areas of how football is delivering on its potential to be a force for good. It is also aiming to extend its work beyond English football.

The FGI comprehensively reviews English football to analyse its performance in a wide range of areas - financial sustainability, governance, fan engagement, transparency, ethics, diversity, environment and community engagement. This creates an overall picture of the state of the game that feeds into a range of areas including assessing English’s football readiness for the Independent Football Regulator’s (IFR) and Fair Game’s engagement with its member clubs.

We are looking to develop a year-long programme, ensuring that it is delivered efficiently and that Fair Game works effectively with its many internal and external stakeholders, getting their input and communicating with them at the right time.
